SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi has kicked off its Electric Ocean Festival, featuring a wide variety of neon entertainment, live shows, and family fun activities over the summer months. In the season, the marine life theme park will be transformed into an interactive attraction of music, lights, and glowing sea creatures, from 27th June to 30th August.

High-energy dances, immersive light shows, glowing characters, and themed entertainment can be found across the park. There is also a silent disco, pop-up performances, and extended evening activities to keep the entire family entertained at the festival. It is a celebration of the park’s theme of “One Ocean” with the addition of marine-themed storytelling and colorful summer festivities. 

The festival is free with general admission to the park, so families will be able to enjoy all of SeaWorld’s marine adventures as well as the seasonal entertainment. According to organizers, the event aims to offer a distinctive summer alternative to the heat for residents and tourists, featuring fun and interactive exhibits and activities for the whole family. 

What can visitors expect this summer?

SeaWorld Yas Island Abu Dhabi will have spectacular live performances, music, themed parties, character appearances, and more throughout the park. There are also pre-show activities, neon displays, and evening shows during the Electric Ocean Festival, making it a fun party for families and kids.

Other than the festival, guests can take advantage of the park’s eight immersive marine environments, over 100 animal experiences, animal presentations, and a host of dining and shopping. This year’s Electric Ocean Festival really is a big summer event for Yas Island; as well as being a marine education event, it is an entertainment one.
