Free Parking Announced in Ajman During Eid Al-Adha 2026

Free Parking in Ajman

The Ajman Municipality, Planning Department, announced a special free parking offer during the Eid Al-Adha 2026 holidays. It will give people and visitors the freedom to park for granted when it comes to public parking during Eid.

Authorities confirmed that paid parking will be suspended from May 26 to May 29, 2026. The regular parking rate should be reinstated on May 30. Applies only to public parking areas; some privately-run and multi-level parking areas may operate as normal.

The municipality also requested car drivers to adhere to the parking regulations and not hold up traffic or park in restricted areas. Inspection teams will remain in place throughout the holidays to ensure that traffic flows and safety are maintained on the roads and public areas, officials said.

Ajman Residents Welcome Eid Parking Relief

With so many families being expected to travel, visit loved ones and participate in Eid celebrations during the lengthy holiday weekend, residents across Ajman enthusiastically welcomed the announcement of Free Parking. This temporary suspension of the parking charges is anticipated to help alleviate transportation expenses and congestion in the busy commercial areas.

Eid Al-Adha is one of the busiest public holidays in the UAE, and shopping centres, parks and restaurants will probably be busier than usual. This is when municipal authorities tend to make changes to their services to assist their citizens and enhance their convenience.

The local authorities have called on motorists to keep themselves updated on official municipality communication resources for further announcements pertaining to traffic management, waste pick-up and public services during Eid holidays. Local media reports that the same parking exemptions have also been extended in other emirates during the major holidays.
